5 DAYS OF GLORY, GRACE, AND VIRTUES
We just rounded up our 5 days of Glory, Grace, and Virtues. Below are the excerpts of some of the conversations we had. They will enlighten and transform the open-hearted believer who receives the word shared with/in meekness.
From our opening text, we see without ambiguity that God has called us His Children to Glory and to Virtues. 2 Pet. 1:3.
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 2 Peter 1:3 (KJV)
Glory stems from the Greek word ‘Doxa,’ where we get the English word doxology. which means to eulogize, to praise, honour, splendour, awe and such synonyms. While Virtues is Aretè, which speaks to excellence, strength of character, the intensity of power among other descriptions of this word.
We agreed from scriptures that God wants us to operate at a certain clime from which cut us short from. Rom.3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23 (KJV)
Since sin brought us short…scriptures did declare that except the wages of sin was fully paid, man was to remain in that state short of glory.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord Romans 6:23.
Since Christ Jesus died for our sins, It will mean the price/wage for sin is paid and all its consequences can also be done away with immediately. Jesus has died for our sins. His death was the wage to be paid; the consequence of our sin is settled. Rom. 8:1. Hallelujah!
It means we now, are restored. Restored to glory and virtues. The state we were before man fell and even higher.
You and I should rejoice about this restoration and glorification. We now have glory upon our lives again. Amen! We have even been elevated along with Jesus as we see now that He is now glorified. John 12:23; Eph 2:6; Rom. 8: 30.
You see, in this understanding lies the power and the true essence of our salvation. We are saved from shame into virtues. 1 Pet. 2:9 & 2Pet. 1:3. We are saved from a life without glow into a life full of glory. Hallelujah!
This glory is our default setting. It is our default atmosphere. It is the state of total rest in God. Where there is no shame, no fear, and no nakedness. Welcome to your new experience from here in Jesus name. Amen!
How do we deploy this? It is simply by the grace of God. Not of works lest any man should boast. It is the free gift of God. Eph. 2: 5-6.
So, we welcome ourselves to the life of glory and virtue. A life full of Joy and possibilities.
In the second part of our discussion, we began to look into the finished works of Jesus. We considered the implication of this free gift of God called salvation. We observed that our life can only yield its highest response to God when we embrace what He has done for us and not what we can or will do for Him.
Welcome to your new level of Glory and Virtue. Welcome to your season of Manifestation.
Regards and Please Remain God’s Pride! Amen!
